Navigating the News (1)
In this empowering talk, Jodie Jackson will explain the impact the news has on our children's mental health and shows us how we can change our media diet to improve our worldview. This is not to shield children from the world's problems, but to allow them to see what's possible in their presence!

About the Event
Children are exposed to the news from an early age. It is not enough to simply "switch it off" - instead, we can help our children create a healthy news environment and help them protect themselves from some of the more harmful consequences of our "if it bleeds it leads" news culture. This talk will explain not only how, but why chnaging your media diet to include solutions has the power to improve your mental health, transform your life and, just possibly, change the world.
This talk will be 30 minutes, followed by a 30 minute Q&A. Get your questions ready!
